Successfully deploying then configuring Office 365 perfect-fit for purpose

Triple4 successfully deployed and configured Microsoft Office365 licensing for EkoSource and created a separated primary company domain name ensuring business continuity whilst improving their company’s performance.

Intro

EkoSource provides the latest technology aligned with products and services in order to facilitate the efficient use and reuse of water in private, commercial, industrial and public sectors.

EkoSource also focuses on all areas of water supply and reuse, ranging from strategic conceptualization and design to deriving accurate water conception data, to providing clarification and purification technology. These technologies include the Magnetic Ballast Clarifier, BioKube, Hydrotron and EcoBeta water saving devices along with other more mainstream technologies such as chlorine dioxide.

 

EkoSource provides a range of water saving devices along with water clarification and disinfection products which are evaluated and designed on a “fit-for-purpose” strategy with our parents.

EkoSource is partners with suppliers of water delivery products and services and suppliers of water management solutions who understand the African Market.

Details

Challenge

Following the buyout of DHI South Africa by EkoSource, EkoSource approached Triple4 to provide support with consulting services and assisted with the configuration and migration of Office365 subscription service platform.

EkoSource is currently on the mail and applications of DHO Group out of Denmark. This includes servers, routers and so on, with all systems hosted in Denmark. Triple4 proposed a plan to create and migrate existing email to be managed by Triple4, plus propose software licenses to be purchased.

In addition to the above, EkoSource also requested that their website be moved from the GoDaddy and changed to the primary company domain on the new account.  One challenge was encountered during this project. In order to proceed with the migration, the GoDaddy portal needed a verification pin to be deleted. The customer, unfortunately, did not have this pin. In order to address this, a scope change had to be carried out to migrate emails from GoDaddy to GSuite and from GSuite to Outlook.

Solution​

Based on the customer’s requirement and requests only one solution was offered. To provide project consulting services to assist with the configuration and migration to the Microsoft Office365 subscription service. This included Microsoft email services as well as installation and configuration of the on-premise owned firewall. As part of this project Triple4 was responsible for setup and configuration of the customers Office365 tenant on the Online service portal, this included, Creation and Configuration of Office365 tenant account and setup administrator accounts, the creation of email mailboxes including shared mailboxes, aliases and resources, assisting with the changes to the customer DNS records where applicable, Ingesting existing mailboxes into Microsoft email hosting servers, configuration of email profiles on end-user devices and finally the configuration of OneDrive for business on the end user devices.
